The rock will roll, and you must constantly jump back to stay at its top. The more often you jump, the faster the boulder will roll. You can’t hesitate – a spider is chasing you. When you get to the ledge, jump onto it and slide down. The spider is the first serious opponent in the game. Jump on it, and then run back to avoid being crushed by a boulder.
Understanding the Limbo plot is based on guesswork and assumptions. The most obvious option is Purgatory, where the souls of people go immediately after death. Plus, luckily there is at least the option to Jump/Skip to the next choice after you’ve experienced that part of the story once. Aside from that the game is pretty straighforward so far. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a VN that won’t let you save during choices, but here we are.
